Road Star Fiberglass Battery Covers

(2) 5/16-24 Jam Hex Nut

(2) 10/32" x 1-1/4" Hex Head Screw

(2) #10 Flat Washer

(2) #10 Lock Washer

(1) Side Cover (Left & Right)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Please read ALL of the instructions BEFORE beginning the installation.

We recommend the use of blue Loctite on all fasteners and mounting hardware.

1. Remove stock metal side covers per standard shop manual procedures. You will be reusing the two rubber

grommets and M6 screw from stock side covers. Install rubber grommets in new Baron left-hand side cover.

2. Install new right-hand side cover onto bike first, securing to frame with stock M6 screw through metal

bracket in side cover.

3. Position left-hand side cover on bike, sliding rubber grommets over metal posts on right-side cover.

4. Secure rear of each side cover to frame using supplied hex head screw hidden fasteners. Pass these screws

through stock threaded mounting holes in frame from behind and thread them into new side covers. Fasten

securely.

NOTE: If your bike is equipped with a set of Baron Braided Stainless Oil Lines, you will need to trim the bottom of

right-side cover for clearance around these lines. Test fit cover prior to painting and trim as needed for proper fit.
